Goldline Falsework Will Cause Lane Closures on the Freeway

Nobody particularly likes getting stuck in traffic as a result of road work. It's a real hassle and can make you late to work, an appointment or to pick up the kids. And is there anything worse than sitting in it after a full day of work when all you want to do is get home? If there is, I don't want to know about it. So just keep that one to yourself, please.

All joking aside, road work does inevitably happen. It's the only way to achieve progress, and traffic delays are the rage-inducing byproduct of such projects. The good news is that I'm here to keep you updated on potential road delays as a result of the Goldline light rail project construction.

Currently, the project workers are focusing on the eastbound side of the I-210 Freeway. That means there will be partial and even full lane closures as a result. You can look forward to a total of 11 nights of lanes possibly being completely and utterly shut down. Yeah, I know it stinks; but don't say you weren't warned. The Goldline project will keep them shuttered from midnight to about 5 am.

Making things even more fun, are the partial closures which will kick off at around 10 pm each night that the work necessitates them and conclude by 1 am.

It's all part of the bridge falsework construction that the workers are busy with. They are a requirement to keep things safe for the road workers, so try to keep that in mind before you decide to lay on the horn.

Good luck out there!
